Four days. Two of Tanzania’s most remarkable wildlife landscapes. Explore the Serengeti on private game drives before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater.
Designed for travellers with limited time, this four-day private safari focuses on two of northern Tanzania’s most remarkable wildlife areas: the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater.
Leaving Arusha, travel through the Ngorongoro highlands and continue into the Serengeti, where the landscape opens into vast plains and some of Tanzania’s most productive wildlife country. Two nights in the Serengeti give you time to explore with your private guide, searching for lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, cheetahs, leopards and the many other species that inhabit the ecosystem.
Depending on the season and the location of the herds, you may also encounter wildebeest and zebra associated with the Great Migration. Wildlife movements vary throughout the year, so each safari is shaped around current conditions rather than a fixed promise of particular sightings.
From the Serengeti, continue toward the Ngorongoro highlands before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater on your final day. Its grasslands, woodland and wetlands support an exceptional concentration of wildlife, including the possibility of encountering the endangered black rhino.
It is a shorter safari, but not a rushed introduction — four days built around private game drives, two contrasting ecosystems and time focused where it matters most.
Explore the Serengeti’s vast plains with your private guide, searching for big cats, elephants, giraffes, buffalo and plains wildlife.
Explore the Serengeti and Ngorongoro with your dedicated guide and private safari vehicle, allowing the day to be shaped around wildlife activity and your interests.
Keep watch for lions, cheetahs, leopards and hyenas as you explore some of the Serengeti’s most productive wildlife areas.
Descend to the crater floor to explore its grasslands, woodland and wetlands, with opportunities to encounter an extraordinary variety of wildlife.
After breakfast in Arusha, meet your private safari guide and begin the journey toward Serengeti National Park.
Travel through the changing landscapes of northern Tanzania, passing through the Ngorongoro highlands before continuing toward the vast plains of the Serengeti. The drive is a substantial part of the day, but the scenery changes considerably along the way and gives you a first look at the landscapes connecting Arusha with Tanzania’s most famous wildlife ecosystem.
Once inside the Serengeti, the journey becomes part of your first game drive. Keep watch for giraffes, elephants, buffalo, zebras, antelope and the predators that inhabit the ecosystem as you make your way toward your accommodation.
Arrive at your camp or lodge later in the day, settle in and enjoy your first evening in the Serengeti.

You may spend the full day in the field with a picnic lunch or structure the day differently depending on your accommodation, location and preferences.
One of the advantages of a private safari is time. When you find a rewarding sighting, you can stay and observe rather than moving according to a group schedule.

After breakfast, enjoy your final morning in the Serengeti as you begin travelling toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Wildlife viewing continues as you make your way through the park, giving you another opportunity to search for animals before leaving the Serengeti behind.
As you approach Ngorongoro, the landscape begins to change from open savannah to the cooler, greener highlands surrounding the crater. Continue to your selected lodge in the Ngorongoro or Karatu area and settle in for the evening.
Tomorrow morning, you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for the final wildlife experience of the safari.
